Krysten and I have also been painting, go figure! At the beginning of break, I purchased two round tables, four chairs, and a dresser. When I purchased the dresser, the owner didn't reveal that three of the drawers were broken. The bottoms were falling out and they were in terrible shape! So, I kicked those drawers to the curb and "upcycled" this dresser. Remember that English Yellow side table with Florence drawers that I loved at Sister's Unique?
I decided to transform this piece in the same fashion, and it fits perfectly in a nook at Artfully Yours!
The round table painted with Old White and yellow chevron got a makeover as well!
When Krysten left my house, the table was painted with a solid Henrietta top, and when she returned, little ol' Henrietta was rustic! Last night, we took the dresser and this table to Artfully Yours in preparation for Saturday's Craft Party! We are so excited!!!
My second round table is still a work in progress (I have to wax it), but I love the way it is turning out! I used Paris Gray on the bottom and Henrietta and Old White on top. The chairs that will go with this table are going to be refinished in Florence!
Krysten transformed this "hug your curves" old chair into something so beautiful and buttery! She used Florence and waxed it using the dark wax.
She also refinished this frame using Country Chic's "Perfection," added some chicken wire, and transformed it into a space where we can clip pictures from our craft parties. We mounted it at Artfully Yours in the craft room!
Well, I better get myself together and pack our picnic lunch for today's adventures!!!
